LMHQ Breakfast Panel: Visibility in the Workplace

By

4 min read

I had the incredible pleasure of sitting down with Hannah Wolf of Spotify and Kelly Fitzpatrick of Blue Park Kitchen in a conversation moderated by Kristin Russo of "Everyone is Gay" at LMHQ in Downtown NYC.

The conversation focused on visibility in the workplace - especially at a critical moment in our movement's lifespan. We discussed the challenges and triumphs of being authentic professionals, navigating corporate environments, and the importance of representation.

We have a lot of work to do, but breakfast is a good start.

Key takeaways from our discussion: - Visibility matters at every level of an organization - Authentic leadership starts with knowing yourself - Building inclusive workplaces requires intentional action - Allies play a crucial role in creating change

Thank you to everyone who attended and engaged with our conversation. The energy in the room was palpable, and the questions from the audience pushed us all to think more deeply about how we show up in our professional lives.
