Kristina Villarini has always been fascinated by the data science and behaviors catalyzed by communication. She was an early adopter of social media and big fan of the web when she attended Brooklyn College to study English Literature and serve as the Sports Editor.
She invested fully in digital content creation on early versions of kristinavillarini.com and in 2 years, her streams of consciousness, rants and raves were read in 96 countries. She went on to leverage the site into larger, more important projects, mainly working with businesses and brands that were silly enough to let her write for them. Over the last decade, she has earned over 250 million impressions on social, ads, and creative she conceived of and deployed.
She returned to school, studying Organizational Communication at Northeastern University. The native New Yorker has worked as a strategist, campaign manager and digital engagement specialist on projects with the late Bobby Womack, GLSEN, Care.com, Google, Facebook, Instagram, and personal hero Seth Godin.
She currently uses her powers (mostly for good) in the nonprofit sector as the first Digital Director at Lambda Legal.
